News and events

As well as those organised by the lifework team, the space is available to rent for talks and events organised externally. Laura Clark The Menopause Dietician
With Menopause Month falling in October, we've got The Menopause Dietician Laura Clark coming in to discus this phase of life.
She'll explore the impact of hormonal change on our bodies, minds and choices. She'll put forward the case for now being the time to harness our nutrition with a fresh and empowering perspective and look at practical tips to achieving that in the real world.
Usually by our 40s we've ended up with a bunch of habits, some of them helpful, some of them not! So where now should we focus? With limited time or resources perhaps, where are the biggest wins? What does our body need and how do we get it with ease?
Join us for an evening of discussion, tips and of course a glass of Prosecco (or alcohol free fizz) to kick things off.
lifework Community Day
September can be a funny month; settling back into a rhythm after a busy summer or starting afresh with new ideas and routines. We've enjoyed reconnecting with members who have been away over the summer months, as well as welcoming some new faces to lifework.
With that in mind, you may have seen in the newsletter that we are holding a Connecting lifework Community Day on 29th September. From 8.15am, we'll have a community breakfast (our treat) and then lunch in the Cafe Snug (menu options to follow). Kieron will be running a breathwork session and we'll organise a short walk or gardening session with Kate in the Grow Green fields for some time away from screens. As well as the chance to make some new connections, there will be plenty of time to work in-between.
Join us! So that we can gauge numbers, please book in for the day or buy a day pass and check it in.
We'd love to see you.
