Lifework offers a beautiful, sustainably designed, converted barn, with an adjoining award-winning farm shop and cafe 5 miles from Bath, in the village of Winsley. We have hosted in the past a variety of events, including creative writing retreats, photography classes, business launches, networking events, and so much more!

The Mezzanine

Situated above our main co-working space, the 300m² mezzanine is a separate warm, open space with a welcoming ambiance. High ceilings, large skylights, and cosy furniture accumulate into a space that continues to be connected to the overall site whilst giving you the chance to focus and connect without distractions.

The mezzanine offers the ideal combination of comfort, privacy, and functionality, and has played host to a diverse range of intimate events and communities. From network conferences and team-building workshops, to yoga, fashion shows, and choir performances, our space has been the backdrop for countless successful gatherings for groups of 2-15 people. 

​

For parties of 5+, the cost of hiring the mezzanine is as follows:

£140 + VAT = Half Day (4 hours)

£220 + VAT = Full Day (8 hours)​

Our thoughtfully designed space features zones to accommodate various working styles throughout the day and week, making it an ideal venue for a range of events. Lifework can host a variety of workshops, including creative writing retreats, photography classes, art and crafts workshops, business launches, networking events, community gatherings, and inspirational talks, just to name a few. With mostly moveable furniture, the space can be reconfigured in multiple ways to suit the type of event and the number of attendees, ensuring a versatile and adaptable environment for any occasion.

What's on offer: 

  • High-speed private wi-fi - seamless connectivity for presentations, streaming, and design softwares

  • Free on-site parking, making it easy for parties of all sizes to park with little fuss and no fees

  • On-site resources for all occasions - flip charts, a smart TV, and monitors are available upon request

  • Central table that seats twelve and three quiet booths seating up to four people each

  • Two sofa areas, each with sofa and two armchairs that can be reconfigured to make one larger relaxation area, seating ten

  • A kitchen area with tea and coffee making facilities, fridge and dishwasher

  • A large number of power sockets, making it very suitable for break out sessions in workshop scenarios

  • Access to fantastic local food and award-winning catering from Hartley Farm
