lifework offers a beautiful, sustainably designed, converted barn, with an adjoining award-winning farm shop and cafe just 5 miles from Bath, in the village of Winsley.
We have hosted a variety of events, including creative writing retreats, photography classes, business launches, networking events
and so much more!
The Mezzanine
Situated above our main co-working space, the 300m² mezzanine is a warm, open space with a welcoming ambiance.
High ceilings, large skylights, desk space and cosy corners accumulate into a space that continues to be connected to the overall site whilst giving you the chance of privacy, focus and connection without distractions. ​​

The mezzanine has played host to a diverse range of intimate events and communities. From network conferences and team-building workshops, to yoga, fashion shows, and choir performances. This space has been the backdrop for countless successful gatherings for groups of 2-15 people.

For parties of 5+, the cost of hiring the mezzanine is as follows:
£140 + VAT = Half Day (4 hours)
£220 + VAT = Full Day (8 hours)​






The whole space
lifework features zones to accommodate various styles, making it an ideal venue for a range of events. We can host a variety of workshops, including creative writing retreats, photography classes, business launches, networking events, community gatherings, and inspirational talks, just to name a few.
With mostly moveable furniture, the space can be reconfigured in multiple ways to suit the type of event and the number of attendees, ensuring a versatile and adaptable environment for any occasion.

Two sofa areas that can be reconfigured to make one larger relaxation area, seating ten

A kitchen area with tea and coffee making facilities, fridge and dishwasher

A large number of power sockets, making it very suitable for break out sessions in workshop scenarios

Whole space hire is available:
Monday – Friday evenings after 5:30pm
Weekday hiring of the whole space is available for company away days, quarterly meetings, workshops etc. for a rate of £900 per day but must be on request.
Saturday – Sunday All Day

Monday – Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm & evenings
Saturday – Sunday All Day
