lifework is excited to present Project 51: a series of talks by women, for women. According to the census women and girls make up 51% of the UK population, and Project 51 celebrates this female majority.
Polar explorer, Guinness World Record holder, author and businesswoman Victoria Humphries will kick start the series with her talk 'Anything is Possible'.
Victoria prides herself on being just your average woman who happens to believe anything is possible if you put your mind to it. She was a member of the first all-women's expedition to the North Pole and since then has embarked on various adventures and challenges. When not accepting challenges, she has spent 25 years working in the education sector as a teacher, governor, Managing Director, consultant and trainer.
Victoria believes that life is full of challenges and we always have a choice – step forward or run away, be overcome by the enormity of it or be brave and step into it. What’s the worst that can happen? Just give it a go!
